Reasonably Certain No Pregnancy

We can be reasonably certain a lady is not pregnant if:

  • She’s not had sex since last period
  • She’s used a reliable method of contraception correctly and consistnently
  • Is within the first 7 days of the onset of a normal menstrual period
  • Is within 4 weeks postpartum for non breastfeeding women
  • Is within the first 7 days of post termination of pregnancy or miscarriage
  • Is fully, or nearly fully breastfeeding, is ammenorrhoeic and less than 6 months post partum
  • A pregnancy test no sooner than 3 weeks post last episode of UPSI and is negative
